My Review:
After being in love with the Swisse Manuka Honey Detoxifying Facial Mask, I decided to try another Australian brand clay mask. I pick the pink clay facial masque from Sukin. I am interested in the red clay ingredient, I never try a red clay mask before, and it is always a charcoal clay mask. I decided to try it for the first time. It has a pretty pink color formula, very easy to apply.
I wear it for 10 to15 minutes, it did not dry out and it just stays the same as the first application. As it’s claimed, it does feel moisturizing to the skin than the usual clay mask. Washing it off is not a problem. After I remove the mask, I notice my skin feels soft, hydrated and instantly glowing. I am thinking to myself, I found another clay mask gem.
the next day, I realize big acne start to form on my chin. and the only thing I do differently in my skincare routine was the skin pink clay facial masque. I am still thinking, maybe it was not because of that. Around 5 days afterward, the chin acne grows bigger, and just to be sure whether it is the sukin pink clay facial masque is the culprit of this acne, I tried it again for a second time. I experience the same glowing result after using the mask, but unfortunately also the same effect on the next day when acne pops up on my skin. That is it; I will not use the sukin pink clay facial masque anymore.
Maybe the ingredient such as Coco-Caprylate, Ceteareth-20, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract (Tasmanian Pepper), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) is not suitable for my skin. This is why trying out one new product at a time is important to know which product causing a breakout on your skin.
