My Review:

I personally bought this when I am in Japan, it is available in Singapore, but I am not sure whether it is available in Indonesia. I love Korean and Japanese sunscreen, so when I went to japan, I buy a few new sunscreens to try on. Well, the Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv is not actually a sunscreen, it is a base make up with a high uv protection like a sunscreen. There are 3 types of Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv ; oil control, covering base and bright up base. I purchase the oil control and covering base because I have an oily skin, large pores and I want a base make up that can help control my oily face with matte finish.

The base make-up texture is creamy and a bit dense. It has beige-ish color, and looks more like a tinted moisturizer. I did not really feel like there is any moisture boost from the product. I like to wear this alone without foundation and it give my skin light coverage. Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv does help to blur my pores appearance. If I am using it too much, it can look a bit ashy on my skin. I also using it with make-up, and it help my make up last longer and it make my skin less shinny just as it claims. I think for people with a deeper skin tone, Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv can be to light but you can top it off with your usual foundation and you are good to go.

Does this replace a real sunscreen since Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv have Spf 50+ Pa++++ ?

in my opinion it does not. I would use my sunscreen first then this and continue with foundation.

Why?

Because I usually implement the 3 fingers rule of sunscreen, so I am sure that my skin properly protected from UVA/UVB. If I have to wear this Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv without sunscreen then I will have to apply the same rules by putting the Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv on my 3 fingers and apply it to my face and neck. When I do that, it feels too much, too thick and it will look like I wear too much foundation.

Therefore, do use this product as a base make up,not your sunscreen replacement. Biore Uv Oil Control Base Uv is prefect on days you are to lazy to put make up on, since it gives sheer coverage on the skin. It does not feel stick upon application and I really love the soft matte finish. I am not going to repurchase this since I don’t wear foundation on daily basis, beside there are better make up base I have tried before and for sun protection, I am gonna stick to my favorite sunscreen.
