My Review:
I am interested to buy this moisturizer because it contains Hyaluronic Acid, camellia tree leaf extract, and beta-glucan. My skin match very well with Hyaluronic Acid. At that time, I was looking for moisturizer that can also help to repair my skin barrier. Due to over exfoliating my skin with BHA and retinol, it was dry, itchy and red especially on cheek area. So, I wanted to give it a try.
The cream texture is very rich, but it is not sticky after I apply it on my skin. The color is white and it does not have annoying smell. The packaging is very simple too. THE LAB By blanc doux – Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming + Cream is actually geared toward dry and dehydrated skin, meanwhile I have oily dehydrated skin. I like the cream a lot; it is smooth and easy to spread on my face. It is very moisturizing and it can feel too thick if you apply too much. You don’t need to apply a lot. A little product goes a long way. THE LAB By blanc doux – Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming + Cream give a long-lasting moisture to my skin. It feels comfortable all day, even though I have oily skin. It helps calm my irritated skin. The redness on my cheek lessen and the itch has gone.
I was using it day and night. I use it for about 2 weeks. It does help to soothe my skin and help my skin barrier. Unfortunately, after it repair my skin barrier, the Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming + Cream started to cause breakout on my skin. Small bumps were appearing across my cheeks.
I wanted to love this moisturizer. It gives me enough moisture without making my skin too oily, it does not feel tacky at all. This often happen when I try moisturizer that is made for dry skin, possibly it is too rich for my skin (although I don’t feel it’s too rich). It does help when my skin is dry and itchy. I have so much product left, so I decide to use it on my décolletage and chest area instead. THE LAB By blanc doux – Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming + Cream does not cause breakout on mydécolletage. Surprisingly it helps to reduce my chest acne by repairing the skin barrier on that area, making it supple and moisturize. I rarely get chest acne after I use the Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Calming + Cream on my chest. Well, at least it works on other parts on my body. If you have dry skin, this can be a great cream for you.
