My Review:

Rohto Melano CC Intensive Anti Spot Essence is one of my favorite products, it really works on lightening dark spots. It got me interested in try other Melano CC products such as toner and sheet mask. The toner contains 3-O-ethylascorbic acid and ascorbic acid that help brighten skin complexion and anti-aging benefits. When I try the Melano CC toner for the first time, my thought was the smell of the toner is very strong. It smells like a mix of lemon and orange. For me personally, the scent is quite annoying. The texture is watery but thicker than usual toner. When I applied the toner, I did not really like it because it feels so sticky on my skin and it did not absorb nicely on my skin. That tackiness does not go away after a few minutes. When I apply moisturizer on top of it, my skin feels uncomfortable. It feels like I am applying a thick layer of skincare on my face whereas with my usual toner it never felt like that at all.  After about 30 minutes, I wash my skin with water only to get rid of the stickiness.

Upon application, my skin does look brighter. However, the toner is too rich on my oily skin. Unfortunately, I did not like the Melano cc toner at all. Perhaps it will perform better on a dryer skin type. I cannot get past the stickiness of this toner. Even though it brightens up my skin, the uncomfortable feeling is just greater than the benefit of this toner.  It makes me lose interest in trying out the sheet mask too.
