My review:

As you know, I love vitamin C serum. vitamin C is one of my favorite ingredients and a must have in my skincare routine. Vitamin c serum tends to be on the pricier side. The cost for 30 ml of product is usually range between Rp 800.000 to 1 million-ish Rupiah. Even the local brand from Indonesia like duvaderm Glow C serum cost Rp 880.000 for 30 ml of product. Well, there are cheaper vitamin C serums from another Indonesian brand, but I haven’t tried it.

Timeless vitamin C serum is a good option if you are on budget. I actually have tried Timeless vitamin C serum in the past, when the packaging is still in a dark blue pipette dropper type of bottle. Similar to Mario Badescu Vitamin C serum packaging. Timeless vitamin C serum contains 20% of L-Ascorbic Acid, plus it also includes ferulic acid dan vitamin E. At that time, I did not repurchase because Timeless vitamin C serum oxidize rather fast. The colorless serum turns yellow, and that’s when you know the vitamin C does not work as effective anymore.

Fast forward now, Timeless vitamin C serum has changed the packaging into airless yellow pump bottle. The price remains affordable. When I try it again, I notice that it smells little bit like a cough syrup. The serum is transparent and watery like a toner. I applied 2 pumps for my face and 1 pump for my neck. After application, it needs sometimes to absorb. I usually leave it for 5-10 minutes before applying toner. You can use it in both day and night time. I use it in the morning to help prevent damage from free radicals that happen during the day and vitamin c can boost sunscreen efficacy. You know, for me anything that can help prevent my skin from premature aging is worth doing.

I really like the new pump bottle packaging. It keeps the serum safe and fresh, does not oxidize easily anymore. However, as I use it for few times , I find it leaked a bit at the top part of the pump. I have no idea why, maybe I just get a defect bottle? as you can see from the picture above, even when I try to take pictures of the botle in upward position, it still leaking. I hope they fix this kind of problem.

The red spot on the top cheek is before I use the Timeless Vitamin C Serum
After using Timeless Vitamin C serum the red spot have slightly lighten

As for the performance of the product itself is pretty good. It is gentle on my skin, does not make my skin feels dry or tight and does not give sting effect that usually happen with vitamin C serum. It helps brighten my complexion and reduce my hyperpigmentation. As you can see from my photo above. After using Duvaderm Glow C serum, I tried out Timeless Vitamin C serum and it lighten my red spot on the top cheek. However, it took longer to get rid of it.

Compare to Mario Badescu, I think Mario Badescu vitamin C serum works faster on eliminate hyperpigmentation on my skin. But for the price, Timeless vitamin C serum is a very good option.  Compare to Duvaderm glow vitamin C serum, I think it pretty much have the same effect in get rid of hyperpigmentation and brightens my skin, but Duvaderm glow vitamin C serum packaging definitely  is more sturdy than the Timeless Vitamin C serum. I am a bit dissapointed with the leak of the botle, it waste my product for nothing. I think I am just going to try other vitamin C serum.
