My Review:
I actually get this product from my mom in a sample size of 30 ml. My mom is Estee Lauder double wear foundation lover. When I saw the word “essence”, what comes to my mind was, could this be a dupe for SKII Pitera Essence. Since it has the same function in a skincare routine. Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion has toner-like consistency, very watery. Especially on its 30 ml packaging bottle that has a very wide opening, so you need to pour it slowly. Otherwise, you will pour way too much. It is recommended to use a cotton pad to apply it, but I always apply my skincare with a bare hand, so it might not a good idea when using Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion.
It feels nice and refreshing like regular toner. Unlike SKII Pitera Essence, Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion does not have an unpleasant scent. It does not smell like anything. It adds slight hydration to my skin.
Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion goes well with my other skincare, it does not cause a breakout. It does help with redness on my skin. But I have not noticed any reduction in the appearance of the fine lines. On the skin, it did not show a noticeable result on my skin. It is less hydrating than any other essences I ever tried. It just did not do much for my skin for the price. I would still prefer SKII Pitera Essence over Estee Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion. It is definitely not a dupe.
