My review:
It is a wash-off mask that is similar to a clay mask which contains Kaolin and bentonite clay. A more elegant version of a clay mask I would say. The mask is easy spreads with hand or spatula. The first thing you will notice about this mask is the colour, it has a shiny broken white colour. Unlike a regular mask that has a matte finish texture after it dries down, Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask stays the same after it dries down. When you apply it, it is like applying a thick and creamy highlighter that glow, there is no glitter by the way.
Using this mask I feel so fancy with the shiny formula, I like the way it looks. Wearing Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask is so fun compared to the usual clay mask, and it is Instagram worthy due to its glimmer. However, the mask irritates my skin. Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask had a pretty long ingredient list, which is more likely to cause irritation. Upon application my skin feels suffocated; it is just almost like I am sweating beneath the mask. I don’t know it is just is not comfortable for me. The typical clay mask is drying right, but this one does not feel tight or dry. I do not feel itchy at all.
After washing off the mask I did not really notice any difference on my skin. I did not think it clarified my skin either. Later on that day, small red bumps appear on my left cheek. I thought it is not because of Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask. I tried it again the next week, and I still not feeling it and the same small bumps come out on my right cheeks. That is when I realize it is the mask which causes it. That is it; I wear it twice and then just stop. So sad, it is a pretty mask. I want it to work on my face. The jar is still 95% full; I do not want to waste it so I am using it on my hand sometimes if I have spare time. Strangely, Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask makes my hand have slight glow and moisture. Why can it give glow to my face too? LOL.

My review:
My ultimate favourite clay mask is an old clay mask from Mamonde brand, I forget the name but it discontinues. Things I remember from it were, the jar was green, the mask coloured dark grey, the formula is smooth without any granule. That old clay mask is a mask I always use when I have breakout since it is truly able to calm my skin, help to reduce the inflamed acne and it is a non-drying formula. It was so disappointing when I find out it was discontinued, I was hoping it will be reformulated. That is why at first I thought Mamonde Pore Clay Eosongcho Mask is the new version of that mask since it has a similar green jar.
Sadly, Mamonde Pore Clay Eosongcho Mask is a totally different mask. The mask is green and has small particles in it. Upon application I did not like the granules, it feels rough and slightly sharp. FYI, I have large pores. Due to that, I must apply Mamonde Pore Clay Eosongcho Mask slowly to not hurt my skin. I was thinking, maybe it can give the same benefit as the old clay mask, but it did not quite do it. Washing off the mask feels like poking my face white those granules. Do not rub the mask on your skin. Just like the Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask, the Mamonde Pore Clay Eosongcho Mask cause acne on my skin. I use it twice and that is it. I know something is not right for my skin even only after using it twice. Compare to Lush magnaminty mask which has bigger chunk of the particle in it, the Mamonde Pore Clay Eosongcho Mask is still too harsh for me, I prefer lush magnaminty mask. Deep down I am still hoping Mamonde will revamp my beloved grey clay mask 🙂
