20 Minutes Exercise Every Morning
At first, it is so hard to incorporate 20 minutes exercise routine every morning for 4 days a week. But with the power of habit, I am used to it now. With a large number of exercise videos on YouTube, it is easy to exercise by yourself ever day. The only thing you need is a strong will. I actually like to exercise in classes, but with 9 to 5 jobs and single mom duties, it is hard for me to go to classes often. So I decided to do home exercise for 4 days a week and 1 cardio class once a week. I do not exercise on weekends. Weekends are free time for me and also resting time for my body.
The YouTube channel that I like to watch are Chloe Ting, popsugar fitness, Rebecca Louise, and blogilates. The most exercise YouTube channel I watch is Chloe Ting. She provides various abs workouts, which is my primary focus. The routine is also very easy to follow daily. Here are my 4 most favorite exercises from Chloe ting;
Intense Abs Workout Routine – 10 Mins Flat Stomach Exercise
Abs Workout Get that 11 Line Abs in 35 days
10 Mins Abs Workout To Get Flat Belly In 30 Days | Free Workout Program
Quick & Effective HIIT Workout for Flat Tummy 15 Minutes Calorie Burn
The Chloe thing’s videos are my go-to 20 minutes morning exercise, I often combine 2 videos or just 1 if I do not have much time.
If you love to dance, Zumba, and other fun cardio routines, PopSugar fitness is your jam. Sugar pop has many variations of dance moves, and some of the videos are pretty intense. Here are the most favorite intense exercises from Sugar pop;
Burn 600 Calories in a 60-Minute Workout With Jeanette Jenkins
This Killer Workout Torches Calories — About 500 in 45 Minutes
30 Minute Low Impact Workout to Torch Calories | Class FitSugar
Sugarpop fitness video that I like is 30 to 60 minutes long, so I cannot use it on weekdays morning. I usually do this kind of long video on the weekend when I have time.
As for intense cardio workout class once a week, I do Muay Thai, Shadowboxing, or Zumba. I want to do more weightlifting exercise in the future because it can burn more calories than cardio exercise.
Drink 8 Glass Of Water And 1 Glass Of Healthy Juice Every Day
I know it sounds so cliché. Drink 2 liters of water is a must for me to maintain my health. You can divide the drinking portion into 4 times a day. 2 glasses before going to work, 4 times during the day at the office, and 2 more at night when you got home. Just adjust it as you like.
I try to drink a glass of juice every day. It adds nutrients to your body and good for your skin too. Sometimes I make smoothies too. The juices that I like are red dragon+respberry juice, orange+apple+pinaplle juice, beetroot+lemon juice, and avocado juice. All of the juices are homemade or cold-pressed.
Replace your bubble drink with a healthy smoothie. Here is my favorite recipe for strawberry smoothies: a cup of strawberry, a cup of plain yogurt, 300 ml of milk, and 2 spoons of honey, blend it all together with ice cubes.
Another beneficial beverage is Matcha. Matcha is high in a catechin called EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which is believed to have cancer-fighting effects on the body. Matcha also contains caffeine, it can be a good substitute for coffee although the caffein level is not as high as coffee.
Sleeping For 6-8 Hours And Skincare Routine
Sleeping is so important to maintain health and preserve your beauty. Stop staying up late at night just to watch movies. You could do it once in a while, not continuously. These days, sleeping is so precious to me. When I am lacking sleep, my mood will turn bad, my skin will look tired and panda eyes will be on fleek.
A healthy routine will not be complete without a skincare routine. I religiously do skincare every day because I know it will help me in the long run.
Healthy between body and mind must be balanced right? you do exercise, eating healthy food but if your mind is not in the right place, all of your efforts will be useless. In Fact, it is very difficult to keep your mind happy due to everyday stress. You need to pay attention to your mind too. There is another thing I want to add to my healthy routine, that is meditation. Life can be stressful. I often had difficulty sleeping due to overthinking. The moment I close my eyes, my mind runs wild. Thinking, worrying about small things, about work, just everything. I think Meditation would really help me to be calm.
Health is important, and it needs an effort to stay fit for the long term. Some habits are hard to stop, but with determination, you will be able to handle it. Think about the future, an unhealthy body is expensive and will cost you more. It is time to start small and start now 🙂
