My Review:
First of all, how cute is the packaging? It is shaped like an orange. Actually, it looks like a Korean orange name Hallabong. It is a citrus hybrid that began growing on Jeju Island, which also one of the main ingredients for The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel. I have to say, even though the packaging is very cute, it is a little bulky to put on the skincare shelf and take up a lot of space. But on the packaging says after you finish the product, that you could reuse the packaging as a pot for decoration. I like that, the product comes with a spatula to scoop up the product without touching it directly, it is more hygienic that way.
The peeling gel smell very nice and refreshing. The texture is similar to a light moisturizer. There are fine granules in the peeling gel, but it is not like a harsh granule. You can hardly feel it on your skin when you apply it. I use this product after I do my double cleansing and let my skin dry. You must use the product on dry skin. Apply it to your skin and do a circular motion for 1-2 minutes until it starts to ball up. It may look like dirt peeling of your skin. Do it in the bathroom, because it can get messy. After you message the peeling gel and its peel of, rinse it with water.
This is my first time using a peeling gel, I usually use chemical peeling like Paula’s choice BHA. I have oily skin and my pores got clogged easily. Every two days or so, when I clean my face with a cleansing oil, I can feel tinny particles is coming off from my skin, maybe dirt or dead skin cell. However, it is cannot be properly washed away with just cleansing oil.
When I use, The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel afterward I can feel my skin is smooth. The dirt and dead skin have melted away. Try to massage gently and slowly, don’t rub the peeling gel vigorously on the skin. Because you might end up irritating your skin instead of exfoliating it. I love the result after using The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel, my skin is smooth, soft, and brighter.
I use it 3 times a week, sometimes at night, sometimes in the morning. Just like any other exfoliating product, you must moisturize your skin well after exfoliating it with The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel. I feel like after using the peeling gel my skin absorbs other skincare afterward better. The product contains AHA and BHA. I get along well with BHA, but with AHA I haven’t found a suitable product until this. AHA usually makes my skin red, but in The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel I have no redness problem at all.
Another thing is, I also use The YEON Vita 7 Energy Peeling Gel for my armpits to exfoliate the dead skin in that area and it makes my armpits slightly brighter. A quite surprising result. Also, on my neck, the back of my neck, and other areas where I feel like there is a build-up dead skin cell that needs to be exfoliated. this peeling gel is a great product and I will definitely buy it again.
