My Review:
I got this Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner as a gift in a travel-size bottle. I thought this was a serum, but it turns out to be toner. When you see Hanyul Yuja Oil, you will notice there are 2 layers of product, oil on top and liquid at the bottom. Since it is an oil toner, you have to shake it before using it, to mix it up between oil and liquid. The first time I use it, I put it on dry skin after double cleansing, and it feels slightly sticky. Then I follow up with serum and moisturizer. Since I am testing this toner, I prefer to go with a minimum step of the skincare routine. I use it at night. My skin looks so oily afterward, especially in the T zone area. I don’t feel comfortable using it that way, but since it did not cause irritation on my skin, I try to use it again the next night. This time I use my usual toner first, so my skin will be in damp condition then I apply Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner. And I am loving it. For me, it is better to put it as a second toner, so it glides smoothly on my skin without feeling greasy.
What I love most about this toner is the fresh orange smell, it smells so good as if you squeeze an orange and slather it all over your face. Makes me feel happy putting it on my skin. Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner also added a nice layer of moisture to my skin. Using it as a second toner might sound troublesome, if you want to use it as a single toner perhaps you can put it on your skin when it is still damped before it completely dries down. That way it will not feel greasy.
Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner definitely brings a brightening effect on my skin the next morning. My skin looks plump and glowing. I only use the toner at night, because in the daytime it can be too oily for my skin. I use it when I need an extra hydrating layer, such as at night when I am using a retinol product. Hanyul has such a great toner. I also love Hanyul Rice Essential Skin Softener, which also smells heavenly. Hanyul Yuja Oil toner is geared toward people with dry skin, but people with oily skin like me can also use it, it depends on your skin needs. I think I might purchase the full-size Hanyul Yuja Oil Toner.
